WEBINAR: How the Ukrainian IT industry is still standing against all odds

15th March 2022, 13:00-13:45 CET, online
DIGITALEUROPE and IT Ukraine invite you to an online webinar, where we will discuss the current state-of-play of the Ukrainian IT sector and how it has responded to the crisis.
Ukraine’s digital sector is a key player of Ukraine’s concerted effort to fend off Russia’s invasion. The IT sector has been a crucial driver of economic growth in the country accounting for more than 3% of GDP and 10% of foreign direct investment flowing into Ukraine in 2020. The number of ICT specialists has doubled in the past 3 years to reach over 285 000.
As soon as the Pentagon revealed Russia’s invasion plan in mid-February 2022, most Ukrainian IT companies developed Business Continuation Plans to get prepared. How are they holding up today? What role are they playing in supporting the Ukrainian army? How do they currently manage to remain fully operational and what is their hope for the future?
Join this short briefing to hear directly from our Ukrainian member IT Ukraine as well as several representatives of Ukrainian IT companies who will share their stories and answer your questions.
